We brought the moon to bear,
In our ever-shining eyes,
The beauty of our Earth,
Our little thing, just floating.
Then we looked to the forests
To see if we could taste them,
We hoped for so much
I like to think we got something.
An then in the end, the grassy fields,
We loved them too.
I don't know why we ever left
Our painted bodies sleep.
